𝗥𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝘀
Just like any individual out there, Mads has always had a clear goal in mind. Typical and cliche as it may sound, Mads dreamt of buying a house for her parents and another for her own family. This is because ever since she was a kid, Mads and her family had always rented out a house to live in. Hence, securing a house was her ultimate goal in life.
However, this was no easy goal to achieve for Mads. Before joining Ripple VAs, she worked at a company with a job she is passionate about — a bank teller. Her passion and interest in her job kept her going every day, even if it required her to travel 70 kilometers every day.
While this may appear as a sweet story of someone pursuing her career and passion at the same time despite the intensive efforts required, the story of Mads did not follow the same narrative. Earning only Php 12,500 a month, the question “How do I get by?” repeatedly knocked on her head as she continuously struggled to settle the towering bills and high daily expenses, leaving no room for savings.
Every night, she spends her time worrying and crying over her financial situation. Forget saving money to buy a house; her earnings were not even enough to pay for all the bills, support her parents, and provide for her own family. She even had to juggle multiple gigs to earn sufficient money when the pandemic hit.
But this all changed when she became part of Ripple. Ripple changed her life. “Ripple did not just give me a job. Ripple gave me hope, that same hope I thought I lost years ago”, Mads expressed as she described her current earning capacity as a virtual assistant at Ripple.
Through Ripple, the bright and lively Mads came to life again and can take on any challenges and obstacles. She is now able to do things she previously could not do. She can now enjoy working without having to commute every day. She can now provide groceries for her family. She can now pay off her and her family’s debts and bills and still leave some for herself. Most importantly, she has now stopped restraining herself from building her own family with her partner.
With Ripple, Mads was able to change the tides in her life. While she may be far from buying her parents their own house, she has already made her other ultimate goal in life a reality. And that is to purchase and start paying for a house she and her partner can call their own. According to Mads, she owes it to the consistency of the opportunities and the excellent culture Ripple provides to its members.
